CASEY OLSEN, M.S., R.D., L.D.
Cassandra (“Casey”) Olsen is a Board-Certified Dietetics/Dietitian for 12 years. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics and completed her Dietetic Internship at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Casey received her Masters of Science in Applied Nutrition, Sports Nutrition and Fitness at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Before switching into the medical field and moving to Houston, Casey started her career as a nutritionist working with athletes in Denver, Colorado. For 6 years, she owned and operated, For the Win Nutrition, a nutrition consulting business for athletes and those who lead an active lifestyle while working as the Director of Nutrition Services at The Healthcare Resort and a Registered Dietitian at Grandview Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Casey had been working at HCA Kingwood Hospital for the last couple of years while she grew her own private practice, NAD Nutrition. She has worked with several disease states, including but not limited to, diabetes, bariatric weight loss surgery, cardiovascular diseases (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc.), tube feeding, and disordered eating.
Driven by passion, Casey takes pride in helping people find sustainable ways to maintain weight loss and a healthy lifestyle. She believes in an anti-diet approach, guiding you to discover what works specifically for your preferences, budget, and lifestyle to maintain results long term. There is no magic pill, perfect food or ‘quick fix’ when it comes to health.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, traveling the world to taste cultural cuisines and provide nutrition related services to underdeveloped communities.
